I can’t believe I am actually going to say it…Cade is one! It seems not that long ago that I was meeting Clint and Teresa for the first time at Cade’s newborn session…and here we are, one year later. Dang, time flies. I don’t know what on earth I am going to do, not getting to photograph this happy little boy every few months! But thankfully, this awesome trio lives just around the corner from us and we have become great friends, so I see many photo opportunities in our future yet 🙂
We met on a very, VERY sunny morning in Fulshear for Cade’s one year session, and I love all of the rustic, colorful locations we were able to find. I am particularly obsessed with wildflowers {many are better known as what they are — pretty weeds} so any chance I have to shoot in a field of ’em, I am so game. You may see a trend on the blog over the next few weeks 🙂 Like always, Cade was a trooper, braving the heat and cloudless, super bright sky. He was walking around like a true champ, totally blowing my mind with how much he has grown in this short time. I just love the images we were able to capture — the joy that this little family has for their ‘baby’, and a tiny glimpse into the sweet boy he is growing into.
Be still my heart…I love this one 🙂
You know we love you, Hammonds fam! And we thank you so much for allowing us to be part of Cade’s first year. We are thrilled to have found such a great friendship along the way, and I am so excited to see Cade continue to grow into the kind young boy you’re raising him to be.
