Hi!! I’m officially back! I took some time off starting in November so we could prepare for the arrival of our son, Everett, and I have been spending the past few months soaking up all of his newborn baby goodness. He is the cutest, y’all 🙂 I have so enjoyed spending this time with Troy and the babies and watching our family grow. My heart is bursting with joy. I have really tried to make that joy the focus of my day, rather than my incessant need to feel like I got something accomplished. Dishes, laundry, putting on makeup — I am finding it much easier to let those things fall to the side so I can just enjoy. I also made it a priority to take more personal photos and get re-inspired behind the camera as well, as you may have discovered by following me on Instagram. I am finding even more fulfillment in capturing moments with my camera and I look forward to sharing that with my clients. It’s an exciting time for us all-around and I can’t wait to see how our family and business both evolve this year.
And in case you were wondering, Bree has adjusted beautifully to having a little brother, though I admit Troy and I took a little longer to transiting to having two under two! Twice the diapers, twice the dishes, double the laundry, and half the sleep… I wouldn’t change it for the world though 😉 I will be sharing some personal photos from the past few months here on the blog as I get back into the swing of things, including some of Everett’s newborn photos and a peek at his nursery (which I love, love, LOVE).
Thanks for staying connected with me while I took this time for my family. I am feeling very blessed these days, for Troy and my little ones who send me to cloud nine, and a business that grounds me and keeps me focused. I am lucky to be surrounded by the greatest people! Here’s to a great year!
