A look, a grin, a subtle touch of the hand. A fluttering heart, a slow kiss, a sweet embrace. It is such a treat, photographing two people so totally and deeply in love. That’s Romona and Freddy. They are the kind of people that you look at and say, “they just fit together.” It was clear from the start that she is smitten over him and he completely adores her, so when they asked me to photograph their spring wedding, how could I say no? Having the chance know and work with R + F over the past year has been unbelievably great, and their wedding was just the same — great. Fun. And oozing with big love.
Romona and Freddy, thank you so much for entrusting us with your special day. We had the best time with you and your fabulous friends and family, and I hope you love your sneak peek 🙂
You can never get enough shots of a gorgeous pair of shoes!Romona’s Maggie Sottero gown was stunning, and fit her perfectly.Â
Freddy and his guys looked dapper in this grey and black suit ensemble {LOVE the ties by the way!}. Then it was time for one of my favorite wedding day moments — the First Look 🙂
…and now, portrait time.
I was fighting back the tears when Romona’s parents saw her for the first time. One of the sweetest moments of the day…
Troy snagged this shot and I am crazy over it for some reason. It/they just looks…so…cool.
The kiss! Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan! This first dance was a special moment to photograph. You could FEEL the love between them. See, their first dance song was one that Freddy wrote and dedicated to Romona! How friggin awesome, right? They never lost each other’s gaze as they moved around that dance floor, Freddy singing the sweet words of his song to his new bride.
Another one of the ‘cool’ images Troy snagged. Loving this one!I seem to always get the best reception guests — they are the funnest {I am officially making that a word} dancers and always give me lots of smile-inducing photos. Â
Way to rock a double-handed guns-up, girl! Dancing MA-chines!Even though this sparkler exit took place after the ceremony, I had to end on this note because it is just way too fun.Â
Big hugs to you, R+F, and everyone who made your day super special. We loved being part of it!
