The Campbells | Houston Family Photographer

Woo! It’s Friday — the weekend is finally here and before I totally go M.I.A. for work over the next few days , I just had to get this family shoot posted. Folks, meet the Campbells — one of the nicest, sweetest, most loving families I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I warned you yesterday that there would be lots of love — sibling love, family love…people, you are going to feel. the. love! And I already know what you are going to say to yourselves, “Self, how did she get those kiddos to hug and smile and hold hands and, well, get along??” And I will tell you that we didn’t have to do one stinkin thing. Nope, no bribing, convincing, or threats Those two seriously and genuinely channeled their brother/sister love and worked it for the camera. I just sat back and smiled at how easy they made it for me clicked away at the shutter. Stephanie asked for a bit of a vintage feel to these images, and I think we were able to capture that for her. Troy and I had an awesome time shooting this family session and getting to meet the Campbells. Everything was so relaxed and just plain fun {Troy even handed his camera over to the kids so they could take some of their OWN photos!}, we seriously couldn’t have asked for a better shoot. Stephanie and Jim, you have raised some pretty amazing little ones! Thank you a BAZILLION times over — for spending your Sunday evening with us, braving the heat, and allowing us to photograph your unequivocal love for one another
